Well, first of all, the story itself is pretty interesting. The timing of servicemen and women preventing bullying shortly after the repeal of DADT is most likely no coincidence. But it is still a good thing to see out of the men and women of our military.
This is a story that could be really important. It is about how teachers will have to learn suicide prevention in teens. This is a rising issue in America, and locally. They mention that fact in the news story. But there's no research, or anything behind the article.
Let's start on the fact that this story is completely irrelevant. First of all, when was the last time anyone has heard anything of bin Laden? It's been a long time. Americans and their government have more things to worry about now.
Revolutions in the Middle East are changing history. New presidents, government changes, and civilians standing up for themselves are things that are sure to change the history books we read today.
We have all seen the subliminal messages in movies. An inappropriate image on a movie cover, provocative words in the sky, or voice-overs suggesting things to teenagers. We have all seen the videos, papers, and websites dedicated to the controversy.
